Bachelor's degree or equivalent is required plus a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience; or Master's degree plus a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience.
Candidates should demonstrate sophisticated research and analysis skills, as well as an ability to further evolve the General Dynamics Mission Systems' business. Strategic Marketing/Competitive Intelligence Analysts must have a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Marketing, or a related specialty or the equivalent, and eight to ten years of related experience. Applicants with a Master’s degree and six to eight years of professional experience also qualify.
A DoD Secret clearance is preferred at the time of hire. Candidates must be able to obtain a Secret security clearance if not cleared. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. Citizenship is required.
This position requires 25% travel to conferences and trade-shows outside of the Washington DC Metro Area.

The position is responsible for characterizing the cybersecurity marketplace, including market trends, competitor positioning, and acquisition practices across the federal Government. The position will facilitate the Cyber Systems product introduction and executive level market and competitive analysis. This information will support the strategy planning process, opportunity identification and qualification, and product launch of new products and legacy product enhancement investments. This individual will also work with and direct outside market consulting engagements to gain the market understanding and help make strategic decisions for the business. This role will entail a significant analytical component and require a passion for, and experience, working in a data driven marketing organization.
